About DJ Hyfi Ian Hyman

Ian Hyman (DJ Hyfi) has been an avid student of yoga and spirituality since meeting the shaman who turned him onto his path. He's passionate about empowering people through dance, music, yoga, and teaching spiritual concepts. He received his Yoga Teacher certification from Kripalu, and completed his Thai Bodywork training from the Lotus Palm School of Thai Bodywork. Through his training in Martial Arts & Tai Chi, Ian discovered freestyle dance and found that it could be used as a powerful tool for enhancing energy flow and awareness. Toward that end he created Prana Dance, a class that brings people together to explore their body's inner wisdom. Taking his love for music into the yoga scene as a DJ has been his main focus recently. In his live DJ mixes, Ian aspires to create an atmosphere that will move people to dive deep into their yoga practice and embrace who they are at the core.
