Erin began practicing yoga in 2005 to compliment her cardio workouts, obtain increased flexibility, and heal from injury. She quickly fell in love with the many aspects beyond the physical practice.

Erin teaches creatively sequenced flow that concentrates on linking breath to movement and building strength, balanced with restorative/yin poses to relax the mind and body. Fun, upbeat playlists compliment the energetic or calming class style.

Growing up in Vermont, Erin became a lover of nature, and enjoys regular outdoor adventures. Her interests also include reading, photography, and cooking.

Feeling truly blessed to be part of the Boston yoga community, Erin has been volunteering on the Yoga Reaches Out New England committee since 2012.

Erin completed her 200 Hour Teacher Training Certification and Yoga Assist Training at Prana Power Yoga. She's certified in Prenatal, Kids, Teen, Restorative, Yin, and Reiki Level 1. Today as she steps onto her mat, bringing focus to her breath and self care, she feels most at home. She believes in being a student of yoga first; attending classes and workshops with a variety of instructors. Erin's goal is to share her passion for this beautiful practice with people of all ages.

'This studio is one of the best around. I used to live down the road and took classes here regularly enough to become a studio assistant.  The heat and temperature at Spirit Bear is by far the best I have seen. A lot of placed in Boston I have been to don't seem to have it quite right.  Spirit Bear is also CLEAN!!! I hate going into a class where there are sweat puddles and hair from the previous class on the floor. I really like the instructors (who are educated and in tune) and the flow of the classes are great. I wish there were more studios like Spirit Bear in Boston.'
